Yes. All Part A papers include all three question types — Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) — in the same proportion as the current official pattern. The papers are updated to reflect the most recent brochure, not older formats.

When you start a paper, the interface replicates the actual exam experience — a countdown timer running for the full duration, section switching exactly as allowed in the real exam, question navigation, and a submit button that closes the paper permanently. This is not a relaxed practice mode. It is designed to put you under the same pressure you will face on exam day — so that pressure is not new when it matters.

Each paper can be attempted once. This is intentional. The value of a mock test is in how you approach it — if you know you can retake it, you will not treat it with the same seriousness as the real exam. Once attempted, the questions, your responses and the full solutions remain accessible for review. You can study the paper as many times as you need — you just cannot attempt it fresh again.

After submission, you can review your Part A marks and your responses immediately. Every question has a detailed explanation — not just the correct answer, but why it is correct and why the other options are wrong. For Part B, the paper brief and your submitted work remain accessible. Mentor feedback on Part B is available as a separate add-on.

The Part B review add-on gives you expert review of your drawing and design submissions by IIT and NID toppers — people who have cleared the same exams you are preparing for. After you submit a Part B paper, you upload your work on the platform and it is reviewed and returned to you with specific written feedback on your thinking, communication and drawing approach. You can view your reviewed work and the feedback directly on the platform.

Yes — completely different papers. NID DAT BDes papers are built around the NID examination pattern — including its specific Part A question types and Part B studio drawing briefs which differ significantly from UCEED. NID MDes papers reflect the MDes pattern with design thinking, analytical and studio tasks appropriate for a postgraduate entrance. UCEED and CEED papers follow IIT Bombay's official format with NAT, MSQ and MCQ in Part A.

Part B papers include a variety of sketching and drawing tasks — product sketching, observational drawing, design communication, ideation briefs and visual narrative tasks — across different difficulty levels and brief types. The variety is intentional: the actual exam brief is unpredictable, and practising only one type of task leaves you underprepared for anything outside it.

Taking a paper and scoring low early is more valuable than scoring high on a paper you took after three months of isolated practice. Every paper you take reveals something.
